Location: Based in Milan, Italy (Hybrid)

What you will do

  • Identify and develop new partnerships with food manufacturers across various categories through active business development.
  • Negotiate and purchase inventory directly from suppliers to ensure optimal pricing and a diverse range for users.
  • Manage a portfolio of existing partners to drive growth, quality, and consistency.
  • Perform strategic planning, including stakeholder mapping and market opportunity sizing.
  • Collaborate with demand planning and forecasting teams to align stock with consumer trends.
  • Execute and analyze strategic trials to optimize consumer profiles and drive profitability.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in business growth and establishing true partnerships.
  • Buying experience within a marketplace, major retail, or wholesale FMCG environment.
  • Strong commercial acumen with proficiency in P&L and promotional modeling.
  • Full proficiency in both English and Italian.
  • Currently based in Milan, Italy.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to use raw data to investigate trends.
