Project Accountant (Defence)

Project Accountant (Defence): Own end-to-end financials for projects in the Defence & Security division with an accent on forecasting, performance monitoring, and risk evaluation. Focus on leading monthly P&L and balance sheet cycles, improving cost accounting, and supporting audits and business planning.

What you will do

• Lead monthly forecasting for P&L and balance sheet, partnering with project managers during reviews.
• Monitor project performance, maximize gross margin and cash flow proactively.
• Own cost accounting improvements and reconciliations across ledgers.
• Support annual budgeting, management accounts, statutory reporting, and pricing for new opportunities.
• Build cash-flow scenarios, financial models, and decision-support analyses.
• Ensure IFRS compliance including IFRS 15, and coordinate internal/external audits.

Requirements

• Must be a KSA national; sponsorship is not offered
• University degree in accounting/finance or recognized qualification (CMA, CA, CGA, ACCA).
• 5+ years in financial analysis, reporting, and performance analysis.
• Experience reconciling intercompany balances/transactions.
• Strong analytical and technical accounting skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Practical IFRS experience, including IFRS 15.

Nice to have

• Experience in manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of local Government Price Law.
• Familiarity with Hyperion Enterprise and Oracle systems.
