Financial Advisor (SAP S/4HANA)

What you will do

• Coordinate end-of-month financial closing and maintain documentation and analysis for audits and compliance.
• Prepare auditor-reviewed quarterly consolidated financials, statutory financial statements, directors’ reports, and management reporting for multiple entities.
• Perform full consolidation of subsidiaries and branches, maintain the General Ledger and Chart of Accounts, and reconcile GL and intercompany balances.
• Manage external audits with auditors and local management while coordinating with Tax, Compliance, Treasury, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, and other Finance teams.
• Perform technical accounting analysis, prepare accounting memos, and advise the Finance Supervisor on complex finance issues.
• Recommend and implement accounting, reporting, internal control, and automation improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field, supplemented by a postgraduate qualification such as CPA, ACCA, or RA.
• Combination of Big Four and industry experience.
• At least 9 years of progressive experience in technical accounting, reporting, consolidation, financial statement preparation, and external audit coordination.
• Strong understanding and application of IFRS standards.
• Strong working knowledge of MS Office, S/4HANA, and SAP Central Finance, with advanced Excel skills.
• Accurate written and spoken English communication and comprehension.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Dutch language skills.
• Experience with BPC.
