TL;DR
Finance Manager (Defense): Supporting financial management for assigned defense contracts with an accent on forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and program reporting. Focus on preparing Estimates at Completion and Earned Value Management reports, analyzing material costs, ensuring FAR/DFARS/CAS compliance, and interfacing with external auditors.
Location: Onsite in Orlando, Florida, United States. Must be a U.S. citizen; ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance may be required. Travel of 5–10% annually is expected, primarily internationally and possibly domestically.
Compensation: $132,000–$171,600 per year.

What you will do
- Provide financial support for assigned contracts and deliver insights to program and executive leadership.
- Lead quarterly forecasting, annual budgeting, and long-range planning for the portfolio.
- Partner with Program Managers on financial performance, reporting packages, dashboards, variance analysis, risks, and trends.
- Prepare program Estimates at Completion and Earned Value Management reporting.
- Support bids, pricing exercises, business cases, and material-cost forecasting with Manufacturing and Supply Chain.
- Maintain financial controls, support FAR/DFARS/CAS compliance, and act as the audit interface for selected programs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field with 16+ years of progressive experience, including significant Financial Management experience, or a master’s degree with 14+ years of relevant experience.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial systems.
- Proficiency with Earned Value Management concepts, systems, and reporting.
- Proficiency with U.S. GAAP, IFRS, and general accounting principles.
- Strong analytical, communication, prioritization, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- U.S. citizenship is required; eligibility for classified-information access and a pre-employment drug screen may apply.
