Engineering Manager (Infrastructure)

What you will do

• Direct team management: set engineers for success, conduct evaluations and growth plans, provide business context, establish processes, and monitor productivity.
• Lead hands-on: deliver technical inputs, direction, and ensure high-quality platform operations while fostering continuous learning.
• Develop high-scale products: own technical debt, align technology with world-class standards, and ensure on-time delivery.
• Drive innovation: follow best practices to enhance hirify.global’s architecture and culture.
• Participate in leadership: collaborate with stakeholders like application teams, DevOps, and SRE; report to Senior Director of Engineering; promote company culture and global initiatives.

Requirements

• Proven experience leading distributed teams.
• Experience building and operating large-scale, mission-critical cloud infrastructure for SaaS products.
• Experience with multi-tenant software architecture.
• Familiarity with AI/ML integration, including LLMs, AI-powered features, or supporting data pipelines.
• Hands-on ability to contribute to system designs.
• Past background in Java (mandatory).
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms (GCP, Azure, or AWS) and infrastructure as code.
• Solid communication skills, including strong written and spoken English.
