What you will do

• Create high-fidelity models and technical drawings using CATIA V5/V6 within the 3DEXPERIENCE environment.
• Define and enforce best practices for parametric modeling, GD&T, and complex tolerance stack-ups.
• Drive material and process selection focusing on structural layout, weight, and strength targets.
• Apply DFM and DfAM principles for additive manufacturing, injection molding, CNC machining, and sheet metal fabrication.
• Develop specialized test benches and operating equipment to validate subsystems.
• Collaborate with Electrical Engineering, Production, and Procurement to ensure repeatable manufacturing processes.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as a CAD or Mechanical Design Engineer focusing on complex assemblies.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a comparable field.
• High proficiency in CATIA V5 (Part Design, Assembly Design, Generative Shape Design).
• English: C1/C2 proficiency required.
• German: C1/C2 proficiency required.
• Must be a citizen of a NATO member state.
