Publisher Account Manager

TL;DR

Publisher Account Manager (Adtech): Manage strategic partnerships with premium publishers in Japan, track metrics, and provide direction for new opportunities to improve performance with an accent on relationship management, analytics, and platform upselling. Focus on monitoring data trends, identifying growth opportunities, and collaborating with sales and R&D teams.

Location: Tokyo, Japan (hybrid, 3 days in-office)

What you will do

• Manage and grow relationships with premium publisher clients and strategic partners in Japan.
• Monitor metrics, analyze performance, and proactively improve results.
• Become an expert in hirify.global’s platform and communicate its benefits to publishers.
• Identify new opportunities, upsell platform features based on client needs and technology ecosystem.
• Collaborate with Publisher Sales teams and remote R&D as a single point of contact for clients.
• Share business intelligence from clients with product management for new feature development.
• Support Publisher Sales team in pre-sale proposal development.

Requirements

• Native-level Japanese and ability to communicate in English for internal training and reporting
• Experience as Account Manager in digital/technology company (adtech advantage)
• Experience using Excel for reports and data manipulation
• Experience creating presentation decks with PowerPoint
• Outstanding relationship management and customer service skills
• Analytical skills for business intelligence via client conversations and data trends
• High attention to detail, organization, strong communication, self-starter mindset in fast-paced environment

Nice to have

• Experience working with publishers or in publishing in Japan
