TL;DR
Vice President of People & Business Strategy: Design, build, and scale the entire People function to accelerate business growth with an accent on talent lifecycle management, high-performance culture, and data-driven strategies. Focus on enhancing talent density, establishing performance mechanisms, and aligning people initiatives with measurable business outcomes.
Location: Based onsite in New York City OR the ability to relocate (relocation assistance available)
Compensation: $240k to $260k range

What you will do
- Own talent lifecycle management: improve recruiting, onboarding, development, performance, and separation to enhance talent density as a key business metric.
- Establish performance expectations, feedback mechanisms, and use people analytics to diagnose issues and measure success.
- Act as chief steward of company culture, defining and reinforcing DNA across the organization.
- Maintain pulse on employee sentiment via qualitative and quantitative inputs, surfacing insights to leadership.
- Partner with executive team to shape people strategy aligned with business operations and growth objectives.
Requirements
- Must be based onsite in New York City or able to relocate (relocation assistance available)

- First-principles thinker with strategic point of view and structured communication.
- Executive leadership experience influencing at executive and board levels.
- Analytical problem solver using data, logic, and reasoning.
- Proven scaling organizations in high-growth environments; resourceful builder comfortable with ambiguity.
Nice to have
- Experience in high-growth technology or marketplace startups.
- 5+ years progressive leadership, with substantial time outside HR in business operations, strategic, product, or P&L roles.
