TL;DR

Vice President of People & Business Strategy: Design, build, and scale the entire People function to accelerate business growth with an accent on talent lifecycle management, high-performance culture, and data-driven strategies. Focus on enhancing talent density, establishing performance mechanisms, and aligning people initiatives with measurable business outcomes.

Location: Based onsite in New York City OR the ability to relocate (relocation assistance available)

Compensation: $240k to $260k range

Building modern end-to-end logistics infrastructure for ecommerce brands like Hello Fresh, Zara, Macy’s, and Sephora, powering seamless shopping, shipping, and returns.

What you will do

  • Own talent lifecycle management: improve recruiting, onboarding, development, performance, and separation to enhance talent density as a key business metric.
  • Establish performance expectations, feedback mechanisms, and use people analytics to diagnose issues and measure success.
  • Act as chief steward of company culture, defining and reinforcing hirify.global DNA across the organization.
  • Maintain pulse on employee sentiment via qualitative and quantitative inputs, surfacing insights to leadership.
  • Partner with executive team to shape people strategy aligned with business operations and growth objectives.

Requirements

  • Must be based onsite in New York City or able to relocate (relocation assistance available)
  • Winning culture DNA with hunger to build high-performance teams.
  • First-principles thinker with strategic point of view and structured communication.
  • Executive leadership experience influencing at executive and board levels.
  • Analytical problem solver using data, logic, and reasoning.
  • Proven scaling organizations in high-growth environments; resourceful builder comfortable with ambiguity.

Nice to have

  • Experience in high-growth technology or marketplace startups.
  • 5+ years progressive leadership, with substantial time outside HR in business operations, strategic, product, or P&L roles.
