TL;DR

Vice President, People & Talent: Build and scale globally distributed People organization including operations, talent acquisition, and workspaces with an accent on compliance, systems integration, and performance frameworks. Focus on designing scalable infrastructure, optimizing HR technology ecosystem, and elevating organizational maturity during rapid growth and geographic expansion.

Location: Onsite 4 days per week at San Francisco, CA (Presidio HQ) or Bellevue, WA office. No remote candidates considered.

Salary: $220,300 - $260,000 USD

What you will do

  • Build scalable global People Operations framework, partnering with Legal on compliance, payroll, benefits, and risk mitigation across jurisdictions.
  • Lead talent acquisition strategy, workforce planning, and hiring processes to increase talent density and align with financial forecasting.
  • Architect and optimize People technology stack including HRIS, ATS, payroll, and performance tools with strong data governance.
  • Elevate organizational maturity through performance management, role clarity, leadership development, and decision-making frameworks.
  • Own workspaces strategy for offices, remote, and field deployments, aligning with growth and real estate planning.

Requirements

  • 12+ years progressive People leadership with deep expertise in Global People Operations and Talent Acquisition.
  • Experience scaling distributed international teams across multiple jurisdictions in technically complex software/hardware environments.
  • Strong partnerships with Legal and Finance on compliance, immigration, and budgets.
  • Proven ability to build and optimize People systems and technology platforms.
  • Systems-oriented operator with financial discipline and high accountability focus.

  • Experience in edge infrastructure, defense, or energy sectors.
