Director Of People Ops (HR/People Strategy): Building the infrastructure, policies, and culture to enable the team to thrive during scaling with an accent on organizational design, talent planning, and change management. Location: Remote (US/Canada). Must have work authorization in the US or Canada; no visa sponsorship available. Optional access to NYC HQ.
Salary: $165,000 - $178,000 per year

What you will do
- Develop and execute a holistic people strategy aligned with company goals, values, and growth stage.
- Advise the CEO and leadership team on organizational design, talent planning, and change management.
- Own the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Design and manage performance management, feedback, and career development systems.
- Coach managers into effective leaders and oversee learning and development initiatives.
- Manage compensation, benefits, HR compliance, and headcount budgeting in partnership with Finance.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in People/HR roles, with 3+ years in a leadership or strategic HRBP capacity.
- Proven track record of scaling people functions within fast-growing startups or mission-driven organizations.
- Experience designing equitable compensation, leveling frameworks, and growth pathways.
- Strong knowledge of HR compliance and labor laws for remote or hybrid teams.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Valid work authorization in the US or Canada.
