Team Lead Data Pipeline Engineer (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Lead the Data Pipeline engineering team and support a group of experienced software engineers.
• Design, develop, and debug streaming and batch data pipelines for high-scale environments.
• Build and improve distributed, data-oriented applications handling high rates and volumes.
• Analyze traffic patterns to identify attackers and attack vectors.
• Improve customer visibility into API and security posture.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, including 3+ years with Scala, Java, or Go.
• 2+ years of experience leading an engineering team of 3 or more engineers.
• Experience developing data pipelines for streaming and batch processing.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Experience designing, developing, and debugging complex distributed systems, including microservices and event-driven architectures.
• Experience building large-scale, data-oriented applications and writing clean, extensible, robust code.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with Kafka, Kafka Streams, Kafka Connect, or similar technologies.
• Experience with NoSQL columnar databases.
• Experience building microservices in AWS.
