What you will do

• Architect, build, and deploy applications supporting the driver portion of the marketplace.
• Modify and optimize complex, distributed microservice applications.
• Integrate data science systems into product offerings to empower data-informed decisions.
• Collaborate with Product and Design teams to define requirements and prioritize new features.
• Perform peer code reviews and provide technical mentorship to other engineers.
• Analyze system risks and software reliability to improve technology efficiency.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience building and deploying applications in high-traffic production environments.
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, and React.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical experience.
• Solid background in serverless patterns, data structures, and test-driven development.
• Must be based in Bogotá, Colombia.

Nice to have

• Deep experience with AWS services (Lambda, DynamoDB, SQS, SNS).
• Proven experience in a high-growth, fast-paced startup environment.
• Experience building core services or APIs consumed by other engineering teams.
