TL;DR

Lead Product Engineer (SaaS/Web/SQL): Deliver buyer-facing and administrative web features for a trusted data marketplace, with an accent on SQL-backed workflows, REST API integrations, and data-driven dashboards. Focus on improving usability, performance, reliability, and maintainability while shaping technical decisions and accelerating delivery using AI-assisted development tools.

Location: Santo Domingo (Remote)

What you will do

  • Build and enhance buyer-facing and administrative web experiences.
  • Develop dashboards, reporting tools, and data visualization features.
  • Design and implement SQL-backed workflows and product functionality.
  • Integrate internal and third-party REST APIs and data sources.
  • Collaborate with founders and stakeholders to translate business needs into product features.
  • Improve usability, performance, reliability, and maintainability; contribute to roadmap and technical decisions.

Requirements

  • 5+ years building customer-facing SaaS products, marketplaces, dashboards, admin portals, analytics platforms, or B2B web applications.
  • Proven ability to independently deliver product features from concept to production.
  • Strong HTML, CSS, and JavaScript skills; experience building responsive web applications.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience with PostgreSQL (or similar relational databases).
  • Experience designing and consuming REST APIs; integrating third-party services and data sources.
  • Excellent English communication skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Nice to have

  • Experience with AI-assisted development tools (Cursor, Claude, ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, etc.).
  • Experience with Supabase or PostgREST.
  • Experience with data visualization libraries (ECharts, D3, Chart.js, Recharts, etc.).
  • Experience with Docker and modern deployment workflows.
  • Exposure to data marketplaces/analytics platforms and data ecosystems (e.g., Snowflake Marketplace).
