What you will do

• Design and maintain themes, templates, and app extensions using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Engineer complex features for checkout, cart, and pricing using Shopify Functions and Checkout Extensibility.
• Optimize performance and SEO by managing Core Web Vitals, CDN caching, and semantic markup.
• Configure Shopify Markets for internationalization, including multi-region catalogs and currency management.
• Implement automated testing with Playwright/Cypress and maintain CI/CD pipelines via GitHub Actions.
• Collaborate with design and growth teams to iterate on user funnels and improve conversion rates.

Requirements

• 8+ years of web development experience, with 5+ years dedicated to Shopify.
• Expert proficiency in Liquid, Online Store 2.0, and Shopify CLI.
• Deep understanding of Shopify Storefront API, Admin API (GraphQL), and App Bridge.
• Proven experience with headless Shopify implementations using Hydrogen/Remix or Next.js.
• Strong background in React, Node.js, and serverless technologies.
• English: B2 level required.

Nice to have

• Experience with A/B testing, feature flagging, and ERP/PIM system integrations.
• Background in building custom private Shopify apps with secure OAuth management.
