TL;DR

Senior Human Resources Business Partner (Healthcare): Partner with VP of Operations to design and scale high-performing culture, organization structures, and performance systems for customer support teams with an accent on creating a human, empowered, patient-centric environment. Focus on defining roles and career paths, building performance tools, handling employee relations, and ensuring training and compliance in a regulated setting.

Location: New York, NY (Hybrid: office Mon-Thurs with weekly lunches, remote Fridays)

Compensation: $155,000 - $170,000 USD

What you will do

  • Design and scale sustainable culture for customer support teams, enhancing recognition, rituals, and team identity.
  • Define roles, job architectures, career paths, and team structures in partnership with Ops leaders.
  • Build performance systems including scorecards, rubrics, and promotion processes; equip managers with coaching tools.
  • Handle employee relations as a trusted advisor, ensuring fairness, empathy, and compliance.
  • Support training programs, quality assurance, workflows, documentation, and regulatory adherence for frontline teams.

Requirements

  • 8–12 years in People Operations, HRBP, Talent, or Org Design roles
  • Experience supporting frontline, customer service, or clinical support teams
  • Comfortable handling tough employee conversations and building in ambiguity
  • Passion for people, culture, and performance in real-world organizations

Nice to have

  • Experience managing recruiters or HR team members
  • Background in healthcare or tech-enabled services
