TL;DR

Director of Account Management and Ad Operations (Adtech): Leading and scaling the post-sale organization for Direct Demand with an accent on campaign execution, delivery monitoring, and operational excellence. Focus on building scalable processes, managing cross-functional alignment between Sales and Product, and solving complex technical implementation challenges.

Location: Must be based in NYC and able to work from the SoHo office 3x per week (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays)

Salary: $150,000 – $155,000 annual base plus variable component and equity

What you will do

  • Lead and scale a global Account Management and Ad Operations team supporting Direct Demand across multiple ad products.
  • Own the full post-sale lifecycle, including asset collection, campaign setup, trafficking, launch, and delivery monitoring.
  • Act as the senior escalation point for technical implementation challenges, performance concerns, and billing discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Product, Engineering, Finance, and Legal to ensure operational alignment and accurate reporting.
  • Develop and document scalable processes, workflows, and SLAs to support business growth.
  • Foster a solutions-oriented culture focused on accountability and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in digital advertising, ad tech, or publisher environments.
  • Proven track record in post-sale functions such as Account Management, Ad Operations, or Client Services.
  • Experience managing and developing professional teams.
  • Strong executive communication skills for handling high-level client presentations and difficult conversations.
  • Technical proficiency in setting up, launching, and tracking digital ad campaigns via 1st and 3rd party systems.
  • Must be based in NYC.
