Registered Behavioral Technician

TL;DR

Registered Behavioral Technician (ABA): Work 1:1 with children and adults in home and clinic settings, implementing BCBA treatment plans covering toilet training, communication, social skills, and adaptive living with an accent on addressing challenging behaviors. What you will do

• Work 1:1 with clients implementing treatment plans and preparing program materials across various skill domains.
• Collect and maintain accurate data and notes using data collection software.
• Maintain open communication with BCBA Supervisor to review goals and implement recommendations.
• Participate in ongoing training, evaluations, meetings, parent training, and clinical assessments.
• Track supervision hours, renew RBT certification annually, and adhere to BACB Ethical Code and HIPAA.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and families while ensuring regular attendance and punctuality.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Registered Behavior Technician certification or willing to obtain within 3 weeks of start date.
• 3-4 years of 1:1 experience with clients addressing challenging behaviors, preferably in-school/in-home.
• 3-4 years working with children/adults ages 3-18, case management, behavioral plans, and direct ABA.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, Google Suite, Adobe PDF, data collection tools.
• Knowledge of challenging behaviors in Autism; excellent written/verbal communication.
