What you will do

• Manage and oversee all facets of the commercial mass appraisal process for revaluation projects across New England.
• Perform field reviews of commercial properties to ensure data and categorization accuracy.
• Analyze income and expense data and create schedules for the income approach to value.
• Develop cost tables for buildings, outbuildings, and land to determine a cost approach to value.
• Verify sales data and reconcile income and cost approaches to determine final reconciled values.
• Participate in informal hearings with taxpayers and resolve discrepancies or inaccuracies.

Requirements

• 5+ years of appraisal experience with working knowledge of the mass appraisal process.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Excellent communication and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and execute tasks in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environment.
• Availability for occasional travel throughout New England.
