Asset Manager, Industrial

Asset Manager (Industrial): Assisting in operations of industrial assets and markets in Phoenix and Texas along with due-diligence on future acquisitions with an accent on maximizing cash flow, increasing value, and managing property/leasing teams. Focus on implementing operational efficiencies, negotiating leases, overseeing capital improvements, and preparing portfolio reporting.

Location: Austin or Dallas, TX. 35% Travel.

What you will do

• Maximize total return through operational efficiencies, value-add, and revenue enhancement strategies.
• Direct and oversee third-party property managers, leasing agents, budgets, and lease approvals.
• Negotiate new leases/renewals and perform property inspections.
• Maintain tenant relationships and prepare monthly/quarterly/annual portfolio reporting.
• Oversee capital improvements, construction, valuations, and ad-hoc issue analysis.
• Monitor regional economic trends impacting real estate strategy.

Requirements

• BA/BS in finance, real estate or related; graduate degree preferred.
• 7-10+ years in commercial real estate asset management, principal-based leasing, or related experience.
• Financial analysis, asset-level statements, lease management/metrics, real estate accounting, analytical skills.
• Knowledge of design/construction processes.
• Experience with Yardi, MS Office 365, MS Excel.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, strong communication/interpersonal skills, collaborative team player.
