Registered Behavioral Technician (ABA)

What you will do

• Work 1:1 with clients in home-based settings following BCBA treatment plans and preparing program materials.
• Implement treatment protocols for skills including toilet training, communication, social, and adaptive living.
• Collect and maintain accurate data and notes using data collection software.
• Maintain open communication with BCBA Supervisor and implement supervision recommendations.
• Participate in ongoing training, evaluations, meetings, parent training, and clinical assessments.
• Track supervision hours, renew RBT certification annually, and adhere to ethical codes and policies including HIPAA.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Registered Behavior Technician certification or willing to obtain before start (company assistance available)
• Experience working 1:1 with children/adults (ages 3-18)
• Knowledge of addressing challenging behaviors or stereotypes in children/adults with Autism
• Technical proficiencies in data collection and analytical reporting
• Ability to travel between homes; reliable transportation and punctual arrival required
• Physical ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force, climb stairs, etc.
• CPR certification or willing to obtain
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently
