Registered Behavioral Technician

TL;DR

Registered Behavioral Technician (ABA): Engage directly with clients in home-based settings, implementing treatment plans covering toilet training, communication, social, and adaptive living skills with an accent on data accuracy and ethical practices. Focus on collecting precise data, supporting parent training, and adapting to challenging behaviors for children and adults aged 3-18.

Location: In-home sessions in Ludowici, GA (requires reliable transportation, ability to travel between homes, and timely arrival).

What you will do

• Work 1:1 with clients in home settings, implementing BCBA-supervised treatment plans and preparing materials.
• Collect and maintain accurate data and notes using data collection software.
• Maintain open communication with BCBA Supervisor to review goals and implement recommendations.
• Participate in ongoing training, evaluations, meetings, parent training, and clinical assessments.
• Track supervision hours, renew RBT certification annually, and adhere to BACB Ethical Code and HIPAA.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and families while ensuring regular attendance and punctuality.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Registered Behavior Technician certification or willing to obtain before start (company assistance available)
• Experience working 1:1 with children/adults (ages 3-18)
• Knowledge of addressing challenging behaviors or stereotypes in children/adults with Autism
• Technical proficiencies in data collection and analytical reporting
• Ability to travel between homes with reliable transportation
• Physical ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force, climb stairs, etc.
• Excellent communication skills; CPR certification or willing to obtain

• In-school/in-home experience with challenging behaviors
• Direct professional ABA experience
• Central Reach ABA Software experience
