What you will do

• Develop complex 3D models, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings using Siemens NX, SolidWorks, and CREO.
• Produce detailed fabrication drawings for sheet metal, machined components, welded structures, and mechanical assemblies.
• Apply GD&T in accordance with BS 8888 and ISO Geometrical Product Specification (GPS) standards.
• Manage CAD models, WTPart structures, and lifecycle control within Windchill PLM.
• Process Engineering Change Requests (ECR) and Engineering Change Notices (ECN).
• Mentor junior designers and establish CAD standards and modelling best practices.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent technical discipline.
• 5–7 years of experience in mechanical CAD design and detailing.
• Advanced proficiency in Siemens NX and SolidWorks.
• Strong working knowledge of PDM/PLM systems.
• Comprehensive understanding of GD&T and ISO GPS standards.

Nice to have

• Experience with CREO.
• Expertise in sheet metal development and bend calculation methodologies.
• Knowledge of tolerance stack awareness and surface finish/coating specifications.
