What you will do

• Create detailed technical 2D product drawings for components and assemblies.
• Provide 3D CAD support to Industrial Design and Mechanical Engineering teams.
• Establish and maintain best practices for 3D and 2D CAD creation.
• Create and manage Bills of Material (BOMs) using Windchill PLM.
• Define engineering tolerances on drawings and coordinate cross-departmental reviews.
• Manage SolidWorks deployment, including installations and upgrades across the company.

Requirements

• 4+ years of mechanical design experience or 6+ years of drafting experience.
• BS in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent degree.
• Proficiency in 3D modeling software, specifically SolidWorks.
• Strong knowledge of ASME Y14.5 or ISO 8015, 1101, and 2768 drawing standards.
• Proficiency in reading and applying GD&T.
• Fluent spoken and written English.

Nice to have

• Experience with Windchill as a PLM system.
• Advanced 3D surfacing skills.
• Experience working with contract manufacturers.
