What you will do

• Drive mechanical design requirements, conduct feasibility studies, conceptual and detailed design, tolerance stack-up analysis, and create detailed drawings.
• Perform analysis on material properties, structural integrity, thermal management, and flow dynamics.
• Lead design reviews, prototype assembly, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with research scientists, optics engineers, laser systems engineers for subsystem and system integration.
• Communicate with suppliers to control critical design requirements.
• Conduct mechanical innovative research for precision engineering technologies.

Requirements

• Doctorate in mechanical engineering with at least 3 years of experience.
• Solid understanding of mechanical fundamentals: design principles, machine elements, materials, fabrication methods.
• Hands-on R&D experience in mechanical precision design; proficient in Creo/Solidworks.
• Strong analytical mindset for complex problem-solving via detailed analysis.
