Junior CAD Designer/Librarian

What you will do

• Create, modify, update, and maintain accurate MCAD/ECAD parts libraries.
• Build and maintain libraries of 3D models for SolidWorks and Catia mechanical and harness designs.
• Access manufacturers' data sheets and neutral formats like STEP and IGES.
• Process component registration requests, validate info, assign part numbers, and link manufacturer data.
• Configure and control parts and CAD data in Aras PLM system.
• Adhere to design and modeling practices while working closely with engineers and designers.

Requirements

• Onsite in Abu Dhabi, AE
• Tertiary qualification in Mechanical Engineering.
• 2-4 years of experience in Mechanical CAD modelling.
• Working knowledge of CAD packages like Catia or SolidWorks.
• Thorough understanding of assembling parts in CAD assemblies.
• Understanding of 3D harness design.
• Basic knowledge of Configuration Management.

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of PDM/PLM systems, specifically Aras Innovator.
