What you will do

• Design mechanical systems by balancing complex tradeoffs between Industrial Design, Electrical Engineering, Reliability, and Operations.
• Generate detailed CAD models, technical specifications, and comprehensive documentation.
• Prototype, test, and analyze component and system designs to validate and iterate performance targets.
• Create predictive models and correlate them with real-world performance data.
• Perform root cause analysis of performance failures and drive corrective actions.
• Collaborate directly with the supply chain to ensure parts are properly manufactured and assembled.

Requirements

• BS degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• 7+ years of experience in mechanical product design, preferably in Consumer Electronics or Home Appliance industries.
• Expertise in CAD modeling (NX experience is preferred).
• Detailed knowledge of plastic and metal part manufacturing processes.
• Solid understanding of Design for Manufacturing (DFM), Design for Assembly (DFA), and Tolerance Analysis.
• Strong communication skills and a strong desire to work hands-on.
