What you will do

• Own the mechanical integration of camera modules from initial concept through to mass production.
• Partner with Electrical Engineering and firmware teams to define mounting requirements, thermal strategies, and cable routing.
• Generate detailed CAD models, specifications, and documentation for camera assemblies.
• Prototype, test, and analyze designs to validate image quality and environmental robustness.
• Perform tolerance analysis and alignment strategies to meet image quality targets.
• Collaborate with supply chain and contract manufacturers to ensure scalable production.

Requirements

• BS degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in mechanical product design, including 2+ years specifically in camera or imaging system integration.
• Expertise in CAD modeling, with a preference for NX.
• Detailed knowledge of plastic and metal part manufacturing processes.
• Solid understanding of DFM, DFA, GD&T, and tolerance analysis.
• Strong desire to work hands-on.

Nice to have

• Experience designing camera systems for harsh or contaminated environments.
• Industry experience in Consumer Electronics, Home Appliances, or IoT hardware.
