What you will do

• Design, develop, and optimize fraud strategies using segmentation, statistical analysis, and predictive modeling
• Monitor portfolio performance to identify emerging fraud trends and optimization opportunities
• Own end-to-end fraud mitigation processes with accountability for loss reduction
• Build and maintain scalable analytical frameworks and dashboards with Snowflake, dbt, and Looker
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Risk, Operations, and external vendors to implement solutions
• Communicate insights and strategy performance to stakeholders and senior leadership

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Engineering, Analytics, Economics); Master’s preferred
• 4+ years in fraud risk, credit risk, or customer risk management in financial institution or fintech
• 3+ years hands-on with SQL, Python, or R for data analysis and modeling
• Proven experience designing fraud strategies for unsecured lending products like personal loans
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Self-starter with high ownership, curiosity, and adaptability

Nice to have

• Experience with machine learning models like logistic regression, tree-based models, anomaly detection
• Familiarity with fraud typologies such as synthetic identity, first-party fraud, account takeover
• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks, risk controls, experimentation frameworks, and modern data stack tools
