Company
Startup building cutting-edge power electronics to accelerate electrification by de-bottlenecking grid growth with scalable hardware solutions.
What you will do
- Conduct system-level design and analysis for power electronics converters connected to medium-voltage grid and DC sources/loads.
- Derive and challenge requirements, drive design reviews, interface definitions, and verification planning.
- Define integration paths, success criteria, and staged plans from subsystem to production/field.
- Develop and execute test plans, build test setups and tooling for fast validation loops.
- Lead troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and corrective actions during bring-up, integration, and field trials.
- Build processes for issue tracking, regression testing, system architecture maintenance, and field feedback loops.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Systems Engineering, or related field.
- Experience in systems integration, bring-up, testing on complex electrical systems (power electronics preferred).
- Demonstrated ownership across product lifecycle chunks (prototype to validation or development to field fixes).
- Strong fundamentals in power, controls/embedded behavior, and system interfaces (electrical, thermal, mechanical).
- Hands-on integration/debugging with instrumentation, logs/telemetry, firmware, CAN or similar comms.
Nice to have
- Experience in grid-tied inverters, PCS, or medium-voltage systems.
- Familiarity with power system modeling, operation, and protection techniques.
- Knowledge of reliability engineering (Weibull analysis, derating, ALT/HALT).
- Experience building automated test coverage/regression frameworks (Python or similar).
Culture & Benefits
- Collaborative environment driven by first principles, hands-on execution, and learning by doing.
