Salary Range: $145,000–$220,000 annually (location-dependent)

What you will do
- Serve as electronics box architect for flight control computers and motor control electronics.
- Act as technical integration lead and primary point of contact for customers, programs, and vendors.
- Lead multi-disciplinary engineering teams across mechanical, software, digital, analog, power, and firmware disciplines.
- Design flight control electronics including motor inverters, power electronics, feedback circuits, microprocessors, FPGAs, firmware, and algorithms.
- Apply Model-Based Design tools like MATLAB, Simulink, PSpice, and ensure designs meet EMI/EMC, environmental, cost, and reliability objectives.
- Lead validation, verification, qualification testing, and mentor engineers across the organization.
Requirements
- BS in Electrical Engineering (MS preferred), 15+ years of circuit card design experience.
- 5+ years of technical team leadership experience.
- Experience in design, analysis, and development of closed-loop motor drives.
- Leadership with strong organizational skills and desire for continuous improvement.
- US work authorization required (access to export-controlled information).
Nice to have
- Experience with requirement flow down, actuator controllers, sensor interfaces, and military standards (RTCA/DO-160, MIL-STD-461/704/810, RTCA/DO-254).
- Qualification and certification experience.
