TL;DR

Salary: $125,000 – $160,000 base plus stock options

What you will do
- Lead the end-to-end hardware development lifecycle from early concept and prototyping through validation to production launch.
- Define and optimize program management processes specifically for new hardware form factors.
- Manage risks related to component availability, form factor feasibility, manufacturing defects, and physical testing.
- Coordinate across engineering, product, and operations teams to align technical requirements and resource allocation.
- Implement and champion agile best practices adapted for hardware development cycles.
- Track key program metrics, including delivery timelines, prototype iteration cycles, and risk mitigation efforts.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in program or project management within a hardware-focused technical environment.
- Hands-on experience managing EVT/DVT/PVT cycles and transitions to manufacturing.
- Technical background in hardware engineering, IoT, or remote hardware devices with embedded software.
- Proven ability to apply agile methodologies in a hardware context for rapid iteration.
- Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira, Trello, or Microsoft Project.
- Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.
Nice to have
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Certifications such as PMP, CSM, or SAFe Agile.
- Experience with contract manufacturer (CM) relationships and supply chain management.
- Experience managing large-scale cloud-connected IoT hardware deployments.
- Familiarity with data analytics, machine learning, or AI-driven product initiatives.
