Location: Remote, with required on-site work in Arlington, VA (35%) and travel as needed

Salary: $100,000 – $120,000

What you will do

• Hire, coach, and develop a team to meet long-term community goals and objectives.
• Create and oversee regional community groups (virtual and in-person) to foster engagement and peer learning.
• Develop and execute strategies to increase member retention and acquisition.
• Gather community insights through surveys and focus groups to shape strategic decisions.
• Nurture strategic relationships with industry leaders and external partners to expand community influence.
• Travel to industry conferences and member events to build rapport and advocacy.

Requirements

• 10+ years of overall experience, including 7+ years in community engagement or member relationship strategies.
• 5+ years of people leadership experience, including hiring and performance management.
• 3+ years of experience with Salesforce Service Cloud.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nonprofit Management, Communications, Business, or a related field.
• Must be able to work on-site in Arlington, VA (35%) and travel.
• Strong public speaking, analytical, and project management skills.

Nice to have

• Experience developing and managing regional or affinity-based networks or chapters.
• Familiarity with digital platforms and tools that support community engagement and online forums.
