Salary: $140,000 - $177,960 a year

What you will do
- Develop and drive a multi-year private fundraising strategy to meet annual revenue targets aligned with organizational goals.
- Manage a diversified portfolio of foundations, donor-advised funds, major donors, and corporate philanthropy.
- Lead the end-to-end grant lifecycle, including funder research, proposal development, grant management, and reporting.
- Partner with the CEO and Board members to engage networks and launch a robust Major Gifts program.
- Collaborate with Policy and Global Drive to Zero teams to shape fundable concepts and compelling cases for support.
- Mentor a team of grant specialists and optimize CRM practices and data governance for scalable growth.
Requirements
- 10+ years of professional experience in fundraising, development, and external relationship building.
- Experience working in the clean transportation, energy, and/or climate sectors.
- Proven track record of winning major foundation funding and maintaining institutional relationships.
- Bachelor’s degree (Advanced degree preferred).
- Must be based in the US.
- Willingness to travel 10-15%, primarily within North America.
