What you will do

• Design, implement, test, and deploy software components for Automatic Test Equipment (ATE).
• Analyze customer requirements to find solutions that fit within the existing software architecture.
• Develop scalable, high-performance, high-quality, and maintainable software.
• Collaborate with software verification engineers to devise and execute effective test strategies and packages.

Requirements

• BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of Object-oriented design (OOD).
• Coding experience in at least one of the following: C++, C#, Visual Basic 6, or Excel VBA.
• Basic knowledge of Windows 7 or Windows 10.
• Native level Japanese for business communication with customers.
• English skills enabling internal communication with overseas engineers (read/write and speaking).
• Valid driving license.

Nice to have

• Experience with Visual Studio, Jira, and ClearCase.
• Knowledge of Waterfall and Agile development lifecycles.
• Prior experience in Embedded Software development.
