TL;DR

Business Development Representative (SaaS): Identifying high-potential prospects and converting engagement into qualified opportunities with an accent on signal-driven outreach and AI-enabled prospecting. Focus on building a repeatable outbound engine and bridging the gap between marketing efforts and the sales pipeline.

Location: Must be based in and able to work full-time in Canada or the US

Salary: 65,000 - 75,000 CAD per year

What you will do

  • Qualify inbound and outbound leads to assess fit and opportunity potential.
  • Execute multi-channel outbound campaigns across email, phone, and LinkedIn.
  • Identify and engage prospects based on high-intent signals and campaign interaction.
  • Generate qualified meetings and maintain accurate CRM records for seamless handoff to Account Executives.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Revenue Operations on targeting, messaging, and outreach strategy.
  • Provide feedback on lead quality and prospect pain points to improve go-to-market performance.

Requirements

  • 2–3 years of experience in a BDR, SDR, or similar outbound prospecting role.
  • Proven ability to execute multi-channel outbound strategies and generate qualified meetings.
  • Proficiency with HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and sales engagement tools.
  • Must be able to live and work full-time in the US or Canada.
  • Experience working with AI-enabled tools, automation, and structured workflows.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for engaging senior stakeholders.

Nice to have

  • Experience selling into SaaS, legal, financial, or compliance-related markets.
  • Exposure to tools like Clay or Instantly.
