What you will do

• Provide live operational support for GeniusLive and third-party video streams to ensure stable delivery.
• Monitor and troubleshoot end-to-end video pipelines across ingest, transcoding, packaging, and delivery.
• Manage and update configurations, templates, and rules in Hermes and transcoding pipelines.
• Execute API calls (GET/POST) and interpret JSON data using Postman.
• Monitor and interpret alerts and logs via Graylog, OpsGenie, and internal platforms.
• Mentor new team members and maintain an accurate internal knowledge base.

Requirements

• Solid understanding of video pipelines from capture to delivery (ingest, transcoding, packaging, CDN).
• Knowledge of streaming fundamentals including codecs, bitrates, resolutions, and delivery protocols.
• Experience with Hermes rule configuration and transcoding settings.
• Basic API knowledge and proficiency with Postman and JSON.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Graylog and OpsGenie.
• Must be based in Medellín, Colombia.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS Media Services (MediaConnect, MediaLive) or cloud-based streaming workflows.
• Knowledge of Python or scripting for automation and troubleshooting.
