What you will do

• Submit applications to health plans and negotiate payment rates for Single Case Agreements (SCAs).
• Manage the end-to-end prior authorization process, ensuring documents are executed and recorded in company platforms.
• Communicate with payer representatives to resolve clinical documentation gaps and confirm authorization status.
• Provide ongoing status updates to patients, providers, and internal stakeholders regarding insurance approvals.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Commercial, Patient Intake, RCM, and Clinical teams to optimize the patient experience.
• Ensure strict compliance with HIPAA guidelines and report product quality complaints according to SOPs.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED (AA, BA, or BS preferred).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a healthcare environment (medical devices, insurance, or healthcare services).
• Proven experience in prior authorization submissions and appeals.
• Proficiency in Salesforce, Google Suite, and Microsoft Office.
• Valid employment eligibility to work in the United States.
• Ability to interpret clinical and insurance documents and communicate clearly by phone and writing.

Nice to have

• Deep understanding of various insurance types, including HMO, POS, and D-SNP plans.
• Knowledge of provider networks and Coordination of Benefits between primary and secondary insurance.
