TL;DR

Legal Contracts & Compliance Manager (Legal/Compliance): Managing client and vendor contracts and overseeing company-wide compliance programs with an accent on contract negotiation and risk mitigation. Focus on operationalizing contractual requirements, streamlining vendor onboarding, and leveraging AI for scalability.

Location: Hybrid in Boston, MA. No visa or work authorization available.

Salary: $105,000–$140,000 per year plus bonus

What you will do

  • Manage reviews, edits, and negotiations for client MSAs, NDAs, and project SOWs.
  • Lead and drive compliance programs to ensure adherence to laws, regulations, and business standards.
  • Collaborate with IT and Information Security to operationalize client contractual requirements.
  • Oversee the full vendor lifecycle, including onboarding, approved list maintenance, and offboarding.
  • Analyze new laws and contract trends to assess potential impacts on business operations.
  • Develop and implement continuous improvements to contracts and compliance policies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree; JD preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in contracts management and compliance within professional services.
  • Proven success in negotiating with Fortune 500 clients.
  • Must be authorized to work in the US; no visa sponsorship available.
  • Knowledge of compliance best practices and information security standards.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to work in a matrixed setting.

Nice to have

  • Experience in the custom market research and insights industry.
  • Ability to leverage AI technology for efficiency and scalability.
