What you will do

• Lead the Budgeting Engineering Organization, setting strategic direction aligned with company objectives and product vision.
• Establish architectural vision and oversee execution across multiple teams to ensure platform scalability and security.
• Define and evolve engineering standards, quality benchmarks, and operational processes to support growth.
• Champion modernization initiatives and the adoption of AI-powered tools to improve organizational velocity.
• Prioritize large-scale platform improvements and technical debt initiatives, balancing innovation with sustainability.
• Manage organizational planning, including budgeting, headcount, and resourcing at the executive level.

Requirements

• 10+ years of progressive software engineering experience, focusing on SaaS platforms.
• Proven experience leading and scaling engineering organizations of 30+ members, including managers.
• Experience managing globally distributed teams across multiple time zones.
• 5+ years of experience working with SQL and relational databases.
• Deep expertise in Agile/Scrum methodologies within fast-paced, high-growth environments.
• Eligibility to work in the United States or Canada.

Nice to have

• Experience with Angular, Node.js, Express, RabbitMQ, MySQL, Elasticsearch, and AWS.
• Track record of leveraging AI tools to enhance code quality and team effectiveness.
