Salary: $176,000 – $264,000 CAD

What you will do

• Collaborate with Product and Design leads to define the roadmap and identify high-impact business opportunities.
• Lead the technical design and architecture of Windows desktop solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship through detailed code reviews and architecture documentation.
• Directly manage and coach engineers through 1:1s to support their professional growth and development.
• Actively contribute to the codebase and drive the hiring process to grow the engineering team.

Requirements

• Must be based in Canada (excluding Quebec).
• Strong background in building Windows Desktop applications using C# and C++.
• Proven success in people leadership, specifically within large-scale SaaS product environments.
• Extensive hands-on software development experience and ability to solve complex technical problems.
• Demonstrated ability to hire, develop, and retain top engineering talent in a fast-paced market.

Nice to have

• Experience in the Legal Tech industry.
• Proficiency with Ruby on Rails or Python.
