Salary: $176,000 – $264,000 CAD

• Collaborate within a triad (Designer, Product, Dev Manager) to identify business opportunities and craft the team roadmap.
• Lead the design of technical solutions and provide high-quality feedback on code reviews and architecture documents.
• Actively contribute to projects through shipping code or extensive technical reviews.
• Mentor direct reports through 1:1 meetings to support their career growth and professional development.
• Drive the hiring process to attract and retain top engineering talent.

Requirements

• Proven success in people leadership within software development, specifically for large-scale SaaS products.
• Strong background in hands-on software development and ability to solve complex technical problems.
• Must be based in Canada, excluding the province of Quebec.
• Demonstrated ability to hire, coach, and retain high-performing engineers in a fast-paced market.
• Growth mindset regarding process improvement and new technologies, especially AI.

Nice to have

• Experience with large-scale CRM products.
• Technical proficiency with Ruby on Rails or Python.
