Location: Remote, must be based in Utah

Company

The world’s largest independent insurance company manager providing financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and program management services to captive insurance companies.

What you will do

  • Deliver high-quality financial and regulatory reports as part of a client account team.
  • Maintain and reconcile General Ledgers and prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements.
  • Prepare and file premium tax returns and ensure timely regulatory filings.
  • Manage client financial audits and coordinate with state regulators and third-party providers.
  • Prepare for and attend client Board of Director meetings.
  • Maintain daily verbal and written communications with clients.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
  • 5+ years of financial accounting experience, specifically in captive management or the insurance industry.
  • Proficiency in Excel and financial accounting/general ledger software.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be based in Utah.
  • Ability to travel up to 5% domestically as needed.

Nice to have

  • CPA certification.
  • Specific experience in insurance accounting and auditing.
  • Commercial or public accounting experience.
