What you will do

• Lead monthly and quarterly close cycles, ensuring completion within 5–7 business days.
• Prepare and post journal entries for accruals, payroll, and intercompany transactions.
• Generate P&L, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and variance analyses for leadership.
• Support external audits by preparing PBC schedules and ensuring timely tax filings.
• Identify process inefficiencies and implement automation to update SOPs.
• Mentor and review the work of staff accountants and bookkeepers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 4–5 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks, NetSuite, Xero, or SAP.
• Advanced skills in Excel or Google Sheets (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH).
• Ability to align working hours with U.S. client business hours.

Nice to have

• CPA or ACCA certification.
• Experience with SaaS, professional services, or real estate industries.
• Knowledge of multi-entity consolidations and foreign currency accounting.
• Experience with ERP implementation or automation projects.
