What you will do

• Serve as SME for ASC 606 revenue recognition: review contracts, assess performance obligations, manage RightRev system, prepare journal entries and reconciliations.
• Handle general ledger: month-end/year-end closes, payroll accruals, account reconciliations, lease accounting.
• Prepare financial statements, analyze variances, report SaaS metrics like ARR and software go-lives.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations, including daily bank statements and subledgers.
• Coordinate year-end audits: prepare statements/footnotes, respond to inquiries, ensure US GAAP compliance.
• Collaborate with Sales/Legal/Customer Success on contract accounting; incorporate AI into workflows.

Requirements

• CPA designation
• Bachelor's in Accounting or related
• At least 3 years audit at public firm OR 4+ years combined public/private; minimum 4 years Senior Accountant at PE/VC-backed SaaS OR 4 combined years (2 each) public firm + audited SaaS
• Deep US GAAP knowledge: ASC 606/340, SaaS revenue, contract review
• Strong analytics, attention to detail, advanced Excel (XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, pivots)
• Manage priorities in fast-paced environment
