TL;DR

Operational Excellence Specialist (Supply Chain): Managing end-to-end performance management systems across Operations and Commercial functions with an accent on KPI governance, data integrity, and root-cause rigour. Focus on optimizing inventory performance, redesigning process weaknesses, and translating operational needs into BI specifications.

What you will do

  • Act as the single point of accountability for operational KPI data integrity and implement governance controls.
  • Translate operational needs into clear BI and dashboard specifications, validating calculations and data sources.
  • Analyze inventory performance across raw materials, WIP, and finished goods to identify drivers of excess and instability.
  • Conduct deep-dive analyses into end-to-end processes to identify and fix root weaknesses causing KPI misses.
  • Support S&OP governance by ensuring planning data is decision-ready and aligned with KPI targets.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • Experience in operational excellence, supply chain analytics, or manufacturing performance management.
  • Strong working knowledge of KPI governance frameworks, S&OP processes, and root cause analysis.
  • Advanced Excel skills for extracting, cleaning, and structuring data from disconnected systems.
  • Must be based in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).

Nice to have

  • Experience working in a Lean/Six Sigma environment.
  • Familiarity with ERP/MRP/MES systems and project management approaches.
