Logistics Analyst

TL;DR

Logistics Analyst: Analyze transportation, warehousing, and fulfillment data to identify cost drivers, optimize spend, and improve operational efficiency with an accent on budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting. Focus on creating data models, preparing dashboards, tracking expenses against targets, and conducting scenario analysis for decision-making.

Location: Hybrid schedule with three in-office days (Monday–Wednesday) in Norwalk office, flexibility for remote work and two fully remote weeks per year.

What you will do

• Create data models to analyze end-to-end logistics costs across transportation, warehousing, and fulfillment.
• Collect, validate, and analyze logistics cost data, preparing regular reports and dashboards for leadership.
• Identify cost variances, explain discrepancies, and track expenses against budget and forecast targets.
• Perform cost modeling and scenario analysis to support decision-making.
• Maintain accurate cost records in ERP or financial systems and update freight rates, tariffs, and vendor charges.
• Collaborate with finance, procurement, and operations teams to align cost analysis with business objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics cost analytics
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and experience with ERP or financial systems
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
