Income Tax Manager (Finance)

Salary: $109,000 - $140,000 per year

What you will do

• Manage US and Canadian quarterly and year-end tax provisions, balance sheet accounts, and financial statement disclosures.
• Facilitate the income tax return preparation process to ensure timely filing of compliance obligations for all legal entities.
• Identify and implement process improvements and efficiencies for tax operations.
• Research and formulate recommendations regarding tax positions, accounting issues, and risk management.
• Collaborate with Legal, HR, and FP&A on transfer pricing, R&D/SR&ED, and M&A execution.
• Manage and mentor tax team members and facilitate income tax audits.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance with a CPA designation.
• Strong technical knowledge of Canadian and US income tax law.
• Working knowledge of Canadian foreign affiliate rules, IFRS, and US GAAP.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.

Nice to have

• Experience in the SaaS industry or acute and post-acute health care.
• Master's in tax or CPA in-depth tax courses.
• Experience with major ERP systems such as NetSuite or Workday.
• Experience with Alteryx.
