TL;DR

Location: Hybrid (Montreal, Canada) — 3 days a week in office

What you will do

  • Set the enterprise-wide strategic vision for global controllership, revenue, AR, and AP functions.
  • Ensure the integrity and accuracy of all financial statements and external regulatory filings according to IFRS.
  • Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes to ensure timely reporting.
  • Manage the relationship with external auditors and present strategies directly to the Audit Committee.
  • Define global IFRS 15 policy for complex revenue streams and ensure absolute compliance.
  • Champion the global target operating model for finance, directing automation to reduce manual workloads.

Requirements

  • CPA (or equivalent) designation is required.
  • 15+ years of progressive experience in finance and accounting, with at least 8+ years of management experience.
  • At least 5+ years of experience in a Senior Director or Head of role.
  • Expert-level knowledge of IFRS and SOX compliance.
  • Proven experience leading the controllership function within a large, multi-national public company.
  • Fluency in English as a working language is required.
