TL;DR

Lecturer in Law (Law): Designing, developing, and delivering engaging teaching across Law programmes with an accent on student success and academic excellence. Focus on delivering lectures, seminars, and tutorials while contributing to curriculum improvement and quality assurance.

Location: Must be based in London and flexible to travel between campus locations (Central London and Northwest London)

What you will do

• Deliver lectures, seminars, and tutorials in accordance with curriculum standards.
• Develop and update teaching materials and maintain digital learning platforms.
• Set, assess, and provide detailed feedback on student assignments and exams.
• Provide academic and pastoral support to students, including those with learning support needs.
• Engage with quality assurance processes and contribute to module and programme evaluations.
• Lead modules and coordinate with associate lecturers where applicable.

Requirements

• Master's degree in a relevant Law-related field.
• Experience teaching in Higher Education with strong digital teaching capability.
• Knowledge of HE quality assurance and validation processes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to work towards HEA Fellowship (if not already held).

Nice to have

• PhD (or near completion) or equivalent industry experience.
• Teaching qualification.
• Experience leading academic teams or modules.
• Ability to teach modules in Corporate Finance, Marketing Strategy, Management Accounting, Corporate Governance, or Social Enterprise.
