Salary: £47,389 – £56,535

What you will do

• Recruit, manage, and provide staff development for part-time Associate Lecturers.
• Design and facilitate effective teaching modules for the BA (Hons) Graphic Design program.
• Organize timetables for blended tuition, including online tutorials and face-to-face day schools.
• Contribute to the School’s research and scholarship in graphic design and digital communication.
• Liaise between Student Support Teams and the School to ensure student progression and retention.
• Implement diversity and widening participation initiatives for students and staff.

Requirements

• Honours degree in Graphic Design or a related subject.
• Professional experience in graphic design with a portfolio (e.g., motion graphics, VFX, UX/UI).
• Proven line management experience within teaching or student support in Higher Education.
• Ability to travel to Milton Keynes and other UK locations as required.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to work to deadlines.
• Understanding of equality, diversity, and student access principles.

Nice to have

• PhD or MFA in Graphic Design or a related field.
• Experience with online learning environments and innovative teaching methods.
• Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy (Advance HE).
• Research outputs in traditional or practice-based projects.
